Do not choose only by suction Pa. It is a maker-provided pressure specification, not a shared cleaning test. Independent results, brush design, mopping system, navigation, dock work, and your floor plan matter more.
1. Roborock Qrevo S5V — best value for a tidy mixed-floor home
The Qrevo S5V is the Roborock to start with when you want the big convenience features without paying flagship pricing: automatic dust emptying, mop-pad washing and warm-air drying, water refill, liftable dual spinning mops, and LiDAR mapping. Roborock’s U.S. specification confirms the dock and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi requirement.
The performance evidence is unusually clear. Vacuum Wars measured 92% removal in its embedded-carpet test, 92% in its flattened-pet-hair test, and no wrap in its seven-inch hair test. Choose it if: the floor is usually cleared before a scheduled run, you have mixed floors, and you want a real mop-maintenance dock rather than only auto-emptying.
Skip it if: cables, toys, shoes, pet bowls, or pet accidents can be on the floor unsupervised. Spend for more reliable obstacle handling instead.

2. Roborock Saros 20 — best premium Roborock for pets and difficult homes
The Saros 20 is the answer when the environment, rather than ordinary dust, is your problem. Its U.S. specification includes the StarSight 2.0 navigation system, an auto-emptying and mop-maintenance RockDock, a dual anti-tangle system, a low 3.14-inch body, and an adaptive chassis built for unusually difficult thresholds. In Vacuum Wars testing, the Saros 20 removed 89% of embedded carpet sand and 88% of flattened pet hair, with no wrap in the long-hair test; it also avoided 17 of 24 obstacles. Choose it if: you have shedding pets, regularly encounter floor clutter, need low-furniture access or difficult threshold crossing, and value the dock doing most of the dirty work.
Skip it if: your home is open and tidy. The Qrevo S5V can deliver most of the routine-cleaning benefit for far less when it is discounted.

3. Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow — best Roborock for frequent hard-floor mopping
The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is the deliberate mop-first choice. Unlike Roborock’s two round spinning pads, it uses a wide roller mop that is continuously cleaned while working. Its edge-adaptive roller, 15 mm lift with a carpet shield, anti-tangle brushes, 20,000 Pa stated suction, hot mop cleaning, warm-air drying, and auto-empty dock make it compelling for a mostly hard-floor home with frequent spills. That does not automatically make it the best all-purpose Roborock. Choose it because you need routine wet cleaning in kitchens, entries, dining areas, or pet-paw zones—not merely because a roller mop is newer.
Choose it if: hard-floor mopping is the job that matters most and you want a dock that keeps the mop fresh during the routine.
Skip it if: carpet pickup, a lower price, or the most independently documented value case comes first.

The Q10 S5+ is for someone who wants scheduled LiDAR cleaning, a mop, and an auto-empty dock without moving to a full water-tank station. The simplicity is the point: there are no clean- and dirty-water tanks or mop-washing tray to maintain. In return, you empty and wash the mop yourself. That is a sensible trade if you mop occasionally or do not have space for a large multifunction dock.
Choose it if: you want less daily dust-bin work but do not need automatic mop washing and water handling.
Skip it if: you mop several times a week. A full-service dock becomes more valuable as wet-cleaning frequency rises.
5. Roborock Saros 10R — best for low-clearance premium cleaning
The Saros 10R is the low-profile premium alternative to consider when furniture clearance is the non-negotiable. Its 3.14-inch design, StarSight navigation, anti-tangle brush, mop detachment, advanced dock, and 2.5-hour fast charge distinguish it from a standard LiDAR-turret robot. Measure first. The robot’s published body height is not a guarantee that it can travel under furniture at that same clearance; floor variation and furniture construction still matter.
Choose it if: a normal robot’s height is what stops you from cleaning under beds or sofas and you already accept flagship pricing.
Skip it if: under-furniture access is only a nice-to-have. The price buys specialized hardware that a simpler floor plan may not need.

Before checking price, write down the one problem you most want the robot to remove. For example: “I need it to manage daily dog hair on medium-pile carpet,” or “I need it to wash a kitchen floor after two children eat.” That sentence will narrow the list faster than comparing five suction numbers.
Plan the maintenance before buying
Every docked robot reduces work; none removes it. Check the exact model’s manual and availability of bags, filters, brushes, mop pads, and cleaner before you buy. A full-service dock needs space in front and above it, plus access to water tanks and the disposable bag. A simpler auto-empty dock still needs bags and periodic filter, brush, and sensor care.
